Market Manager Specialty Chemicals
Reporting to the Business Director, this position manages key product lines, including responsibility for product planning and market analysis/planning. Emphasis is on developing effective business strategies in partnership with the Business Director. Specific duties include defining opportunities, managing products through the stage gate process, and analyzing/managing customer and end-user requirements. An ongoing objective is to improve company penetration into the Ag and Pharma industries. Close interaction with operations and supply chain processes/systems is imperative, as is collaboration with the Vertellus Specialty Chemicals team and with sales and development resources worldwide.
Requirements:
Qualified candidates will possess 5+ years of experience in market, marketing or sales capacities in the chemical industry. Your background will reflect strong knowledge of specialty chemical markets, preferably in the Ag and Pharma areas. Effective project management, data management and presentation skills are essential. Also vital is your proven ability to interpret market reports and conduct market research on products, product lines, markets and competitor benchmarking. A technical background would be beneficial.
